Shadowspire (Arrowverse)
Shadowspire is a fictional criminal organization which appears in DC Comics. Their first recorded appearance is in ''Deathstroke'' #53. The group was created by Tom Joyner and Mike Collins. Fictional team history The symbol of Shadowspire was a black tower against a red sky and set within a black diamond shape. Shadowspire supplied South American drug cartels with the necessary tools of their trade: weapons, transportation, high technology and reliable intelligence. Shadowspire's tentacles penetrate every corrupt government and drug cartel on two continents. They even had the resources and know-how to create their own weaponized viruses. Through the costumed agent known as Mourn, Shadowspire attempted to unleash the Borgia Plague in Washington, D.C. Their stated objective was "opening new markets". Mike Collins (comics)
Mike Collins (b. 1961 in West Bromwich, UK) is an English comic book artist and writer and has been working in comics since the mid-1980s. Biography Born in West Bromwich in 1961, he moved to Wales in 1985 after an abortive stab at a career in the law, in London. Despite his training as a barrister, Mike decided that he enjoyed the fiction-based life of comic book characters over the fiction-based statements of clients. He is married to Karen Collins and father of three daughters, Bethan, Rebecca and Rhiannon, and is currently placed in Cardiff. He is the grandson of Military Medal-winning World War One soldier Thomas Guinane. UK comics In the mid-to-late 1980s, Mike wrote and drew strips for Marvel Comics United Kingdom division, amongst them; ''Spider-Man'', ''Transformers'', ''Doctor Who'', and ''Zoids''. Deathstroke
Deathstroke (Slade Joseph Wilson) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, the character debuted in '' The New Teen Titans'' #2 in December 1980 as Deathstroke the Terminator. He is usually depicted as being among the deadliest and most expensive assassins in the DC Universe and is a prominent enemy of several superhero teams, most notably the Teen Titans, the Titans, and the Justice League. He is also a prominent adversary to individual heroes such as Dick Grayson (as Robin and later Nightwing) who has been depicted at times as his archenemy, Batman, and Green Arrow. Deathstroke is also the father of Jericho, two iterations of Ravager (Grant and Rose Wilson), and Respawn. A premier assassin, Deathstroke often comes into conflict with both members of the superhero community and his family, the latter whom he struggles to connect with.
