Robert Foot
Robert William Foot (7 June 1889 – 2 April 1973) was Director-General of the BBC, first jointly with Cecil Graves from 26 January 1942 to 6 September 1943 and then solely until he resigned on 31 March 1944. Before joining the BBC, Foot was a general manager at Gas Light and Coke Company. After being succeeded by William Haley, he became Chairman of the Mining Association. Life and career Foot was born in 1889 and educated at Winchester College. He started his career in 1912 as a solicitor in Calcutta, India, working for the firm of Orr, Dignam and Company. During the First World War, he served in Belgium and France with the Royal Field Artillery. He was mentioned in dispatches on two occasions, and later received an OBE and Military Cross for his service. In 1919, he began working for the Gas Light and Coke Company, appointed by David Milne Watson. From 1928 to 1941, he held the position of General Manager. Anthony McCann
Anthony McCann is an American poet. He is the author of four collections of poetry, including ''Father of Noise,'' ''Moongarden,'' and ''I ♥ Your Fate.'' He is also the author of ''Gentle Reader!'', a book of erasures of the English Romantics, written with fellow poets Joshua Beckman and Matthew Rohrer. He currently resides in Los Angeles where he teaches poetry at California Institute of the Arts and University of Southern California. He is also the acting Poet Laureate of Machine Project. Brian Sibley
Brian David Sibley (born 14 July 1949) is an English writer. He is author of over 100 hours of radio drama and has written and presented hundreds of radio documentaries, features and weekly programmes. He is widely known as the author of many film "making of" books, including those for the '' Harry Potter'' series and ''The Lord of the Rings'' and ''The Hobbit'' trilogies. Early life Brian was born in Wandsworth, London, to Eric George Sibley, an architectural draughtsman, and Doris Alice Sibley (née Summers). His uncle was the philosopher Frank Sibley. '' Bluey'' is an Australian animated television series for preschoolers that premiered on ABC Kids on 1 October 2018. The series was created by Joe Brumm with Queensland production group Ludo Studio. The show follows Bluey, an anthropomorphic six-year-old Blue Heeler puppy who is characterised by her abundance of energy, imagination and curiosity about the world. Plot ''Shadowlands'' is a fantasy role-playing game in which the player controls four characters either as a party or as individuals. Gameplay The player controls a party of four adventurers, each of which may be controlled individually; this is sometimes required for puzzlesolving. Characters in ''Shadowlands'' are governed by four statistics: Combat, Magik, Strength, and Health. Characters are aligned to one of four roles: Magician, Warrior, Orc, and Priest. Legend of the Five Rings (often abbreviated ''L5R'') is a fictional setting created by John Zinser, Dave Seay, Ryan Dancey, Dave Williams, DJ Trindle, Matt Wilson and John Wick and first published by a joint venture between Alderac Entertainment Group and ISOMEDIA in 1995.
