Shadow Fighter (video Game)
''Shadow Fighter'' is a video game for the Amiga and CD32 developed by NAPS team and published by Gremlin Interactive in 1994. The game was acclaimed by critics, and in 1996 it was ranked the 20th best game of all time by '' Amiga Power''. Gameplay The game itself is as one would normally expect from any fighting game: fight through 3 rounds against all opponents to reach the main boss at the end. The game features 17 characters (2 hidden) from around the world (including one from space). Each character of course has their own special moves. Like most fighting games, they involve pressing a certain directional combination, followed by a button press to activate. Some of the moves are quite tricky to pull off using a joystick or keyboard, though much easier with a joypad (which started to become more popular on the Amiga towards the mid-1990s). NAPS Team
NAPS team is an Italian independent video game studio based in Messina, Sicily. They work mostly in the home computer and console market. History The company was established as a game developing house in 1993 by Fabio Capone and Domenico Barba. Like many software houses established in the 1990s, their first market was on the 16-bit Amiga. In 2016, the company started work on the game ''Iron Wings''. The company used Kickstarter to raise funds. Completed in 2017, it features aerial warfare and is set in World War II. In 2018, ''Gekido: Kintaro's Revenge'' was re-released for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. ''Mortal Kombat'' is an American media franchise centered on a series of video games originally developed by Midway Games in 1992. The development of the first game was originally based on an idea that Ed Boon and John Tobias had of making a video game starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, but when that idea fell through, a science fantasy-themed fighting game was created instead. Still, the developers paid homage to him with Johnny Cage (one of the main characters in the franchise), a fictional film star whose personal style resembles Van Damme's.
