Shadow Cabinet (Wales)
The Welsh Shadow Cabinet is constituted by members of the largest party not part of the Welsh Government. Since 6 April 2017 this has been the Welsh Conservatives, and since 7 May 2021 the Leader of the Opposition in Wales, Leader of the Opposition has been Andrew RT Davies. Both the Welsh Conservatives and Plaid Cymru currently refer to their own front benches as Shadow Cabinets. As of May 2021 the following speak for their respective party and question the relevant minister in plenary session. Welsh Government
The Welsh Government ( cy, Llywodraeth Cymru) is the Welsh devolution, devolved government of Wales. The government consists of ministers and Minister (government), deputy ministers, and also of a Counsel General for Wales, counsel general. Ministers only attend the Cabinet Meetings of the Welsh Government. Janet Finch-Saunders
Janet Elizabeth Finch-Saunders (born 1958) is a Welsh Conservative Party politician. She is the Member of the Senedd for the Aberconwy constituency. Political career Janet previously represented the Craig-Y-Don ward on Llandudno Town Council, and Conwy County Borough Council. In the 2003 Senedd election, Janet stood unsuccessfully as the Conservative candidate for Wrexham and was third on the regional party list. South Wales West (National Assembly For Wales Constituency)
South Wales West () is an electoral region of the Senedd, consisting of seven constituencies. The region elects 11 members, seven directly elected constituency members and four additional members. The electoral region was first used in 1999, when the National Assembly for Wales was created. Each constituency elects one Member of the Senedd by the first past the post electoral system, and the region as a whole elects four additional or top-up Members of the Senedd, to create a degree of proportional representation. Darren Millar
Darren David Millar (born 1976) is a British politician who has served as the Member of the Senedd (MS) for Clwyd West since 2007. He is a member of the Welsh Conservatives. Political career From 2000 to 2001, Millar was mayor of the township of Towyn and Kinmel Bay. He was also a member of Conwy County Borough Council, the North Wales Police Authority and the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service. In the 2003 Senedd election, he stood as the Conservative candidate for the Vale of Clwyd.
