Seymour Mace
Seymour Mace is a British comedian and actor. Mace was born in 1969, and he moved with his family soon afterwards to South Africa as his father worked as a gold miner. The family returned to the UK, to Bedworth, near Coventry. Mace worked as a clown in the mid-1990s before becoming a stand-up comedian. He was a finalist at the So You Think You're Funny competition at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2001. He has performed several shows at the Fringe, including ''Marmaduke Spatula's Fuckin' Spectacular Cabaret of Sunshine Show'' in 2013. Mace played Steve (and his twin Craig) in the BBC sitcom ''Ideal'' between 2005-2010. In 2009, he starred in the horror comedy '' Zombie Women of Satan''. He appeared in the second series of ''Hebburn'' as music producer Eric. Gold mining is the extraction of gold resources by mining. Historically, mining gold from alluvial deposits used manual separation processes, such as gold panning. So You Think You're Funny? (SYTYF) is an annual stand-up comedy competition for new acts. The competition began in 1988 in the United Kingdom. The finals are held every August at The Gilded Balloon during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Past winners include Aisling Bea, Dylan Moran, Lee Mack, Peter Kay and David O'Doherty. ''Ideal'' is a British dark comedy television series originally broadcast on TV channel BBC Three, created by Graham Duff and produced by BBC Comedy North and Baby Cow Productions. It stars Johnny Vegas as small-time cannabis dealer Moz. ''Zombie Women of Satan'' is a 2009 British comedy horror film directed by Steve O'Brien and Warren Speed. It was written by Warren Speed with contributions from Seymour Mace and O'Brien. Speed, Victoria Hopkins, and Christian Steel star as a group of circus freaks who must combat zombies and cultists while trying to rescue a captive. Janice Connolly is an English actress, comedian and artistic director. She runs the Birmingham-based group Women and Theatre, and performs stand-up comedy as her character Mrs Barbara Nice.
