Severn Lamb, sometimes known as Severn-Lamb, are manufacturers of various forms of transport systems and equipment, principally aimed at the leisure market. They are based at Alcester in the English county of Warwickshire, but sell their products worldwide. The company was founded by Peter Severn Lamb in 1948 in Stratford-upon-Avon. In its early days it predominantly manufactured steam locomotives for model and miniature railways. Today it builds live steam and steam outline electric and diesel hydraulic locomotives for narrow gauge railways in theme parks and similar venues, together with road trains, monorails and various themed custom vehicles, including electric vehicles, buses, and boats. Customers include Disney, with vehicles built for the Wildlife Express Train at Disney's Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World Resort, the Disneyland Railroad at Disneyland Paris, and the Hong Kong Disneyland Railroad at Hong Kong Disneyland. Wildlife Express Train
The Wildlife Express Train is a narrow gauge African themed heritage railroad at Disney's Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Its route is long and takes guests from Harambe Station in the Africa section to Conservation Station in the Rafiki's Planet Watch section. During the ride, portions of the Animal Kingdom backlot can be seen, including animal holding buildings for rhinos and elephants, among other animals, as well as the roundhouse where the trains are stored. It takes about twelve minutes for each train to complete a round trip on the line: seven minutes from Harambe Station to Conservation Station, and five minutes from Conservation Station to Harambe Station. Genting Highlands
Genting Highlands is a hill station located on the peak of Mount Ulu Kali in the Titiwangsa Mountains, central Peninsular Malaysia, at 1,800 metres elevation. Located in the state of Pahang. It was established in 1965 by the late Chinese businessman Lim Goh Tong. The primary tourist attraction is Resorts World Genting, a hill resort where casinos and theme parks are situated and gambling is allowed. Kuwait Entertainment City (Arabic: مدينة الكويت الترفيهية) was an amusement park located in the western outskirts of Kuwait City, the capital of Kuwait. It first opened on and was run by the Kuwait-based Touristic Enterprises Company. Some of the park's attractions, such as its large Bolliger & Mabillard inverted roller coaster and its narrow gauge railway, are common features in large-scale amusement parks in the United States, but were very rare in amusement parks in the Middle East.
