Seth Mejias-Brean
Seth Wayne Mejias-Brean (born April 5, 1991) is an American former professional baseball infielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Diego Padres. Career Mejias-Brean attended Cienega High School in Pima County, Arizona. Undrafted out of high school, Mejias-Brean attended the University of Arizona, where he played college baseball for the Wildcats. He was a member of the 2012 Arizona Wildcats College World Series championship team. Mejias-Brean was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 8th round, with the 262nd overall selection, of the 2012 MLB draft. The Arkansas Travelers, also known informally as The Travs, are a Minor League Baseball team based in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The Travelers are affiliated with the Seattle Mariners as members of the Texas League. The Bakersfield Blaze were a minor league baseball team in Bakersfield, California. They played in the Class A – Advanced California League. They played their home games at Sam Lynn Ballpark. Opened in 1941, the stadium is well known for facing the setting sun and its shallow 354-foot center field fence, and seats 3,500 fans. Near the end of the 2008 season, it was rumored that the Blaze would move to the Carolina League after the following season. The Dayton Dragons are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. They are located in Dayton, Ohio, and play their home games at Day Air Ballpark, formerly known as Fifth Third Field. The Billings Mustangs are an independent baseball team of the Pioneer League, which is not affiliated with Major League Baseball (MLB) but is an MLB Partner League.
