Seteng Ayele
Ayele Seteng (born 11 April 1955) is an Ethiopian-born Israeli long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon. Personal life He was born and raised in Ethiopia, and is of Beta Israel heritage. In 1991 he emigrated to Israel. He is also known as Haile Satayin, a variant of "Ayele Seteng". The different existing versions of his name are due to transliteration. He stands tall and weighs about . Career Ayele Seteng won national Israeli titles before competing internationally. He achieved his personal best times on the track during the mid-1990s: 14:00.49 in the 5000 metres, achieved in 1996; and 29:04.08 in the 10,000 metres, achieved in 1995. He later converted fully to road running, and to some extent cross-country running. Marathon
The marathon is a long-distance foot race with a distance of , usually run as a road race, but the distance can be covered on trail routes. The marathon can be completed by running or with a run/walk strategy. There are also wheelchair divisions. More than 800 marathons are held throughout the world each year, with the vast majority of competitors being recreational athletes, as larger marathons can have tens of thousands of participants. Gidi Avivi (born 1961) is an Israeli film producer, the founder of Vice Versa Films. Education and early career Avivi holds a Master's degree in Cinema Studies from New York University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film and Television from Tel Aviv University. Avivi was the Head of the Music Department and a music programmer at the IDF radio station. Concurrently, Avivi was the popular music critic for the weekly magazine Ha'ir from 1983 to 1987 and the daily newspaper ''Haaretz'' from 1994 to 2006. A half marathon is a road running event of —half the distance of a marathon.
