Isha Sesay
Isha Isatu Sesay (; ; born 6 January 1976) is a British journalist of Sierra Leonean descent. From 2005 to 2018, she worked as an anchor and correspondent for CNN International. Originally based at CNN's world headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S. and now based in Los Angeles, California, where she hosted the news programs ''CNN Newsroom Live from Los Angeles''. In addition, she was the presenter of the ''360 Bulletin'' on ''Anderson Cooper 360°''. In 2012, Sesay also joined HLN as a co-anchor for ''Evening Express''. She left CNN in 2018 to support a girl's education project called W.E. Can Lead for African girls, write a book and follow various other personal projects. Ansu Sesay
Ansu Martin Sesay, Jr. (born July 29, 1976) is an American former professional basketball player. High school and college career Sesay attended Willowridge High School in Houston, Texas. He led his team to the school's first state title in basketball in 1994. Sesay starred at University of Mississippi, where he was named first-team all-SEC during both his junior and senior seasons and was the SEC's player of the year during his senior year. NBA Sesay was selected 30th overall by the Dallas Mavericks in the 1998 NBA Draft. After the NBA's lockout ended, he tore his ACL during a condensed training camp and spent the entire 1999 season on the injured list. He then spent the 1999–2000 season in the CBA, playing 54 games for Rockford, where he averaged nearly 12 points and five boards per game. David Sesay
David Junior Deen Sesay (born 18 September 1998) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Eastbourne Borough. Born in England, he represented the Sierra Leone national team. Club career Early career Born in Brent, Sesay joined Watford in 2007, turning professional in June 2016. Sulaiman Sesay-Fullah (born 16 September 1991) is a Sierra Leonean association football, footballer who plays as a forward. Club career Born in Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone, Sesay-Fullah played for Italian club Accademia Internazionale in 2006–07 season. The club was part of Inter Milan academy as an affiliated club. Muwahid Sesay (born 15 June 1984 in Freetown) is a Sierra Leonean international footballer who plays as a striker for Ports Authority F.C. in the Sierra Leone National Premier League. Alimamy Sesay (born April 24, 1987) nicknamed Orkomie, is a Sierra Leonean international footballer currently playing as a Midfielder#Winger, midfielder for East End Lions in the Sierra Leone National Premier League, the top football league in Sierra Leone. Issa Hassan Sesay
Issa Hassan Sesay (born June 27, 1970) served as senior military officer and commander in the Revolutionary United Front and AFRC/ RUF forces in their insurrection against the government of Sierra Leone. He was said to be subordinate only to Sam Bockarie, the Battlefield Commander, and Johnny Paul Koroma, leader of the AFRC. Sesay is known as the commander who ordered the disarmament of the RUF, effectively ending the Sierra Leone Civil War. On 7 March 2003 he was indicted by the Special Court for Sierra Leone for crimes against humanity and other war crimes, including terrorizing civilians, collective punishments, unlawful killings, crimes against humanity, sexual violence, physical violence, use of child soldiers, abductions and forced labor, looting and burning, and attacks on UNAMSIL personnel.
