Miljenko Smoje
Miljenko Smoje (14 February 1923 – 25 October 1995) was a Croatian writer and journalist. Smoje was born in Split, at the time in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, in a family of poor labourers. The neighbourhood where he grew up was known for its support for anarchism, socialism and other left-wing ideologies. This would later influence Smoje's work and help him develop a strong dislike of authorities and the establishment. Smoje finished high school in Split in 1941, but his further education was interrupted by the Axis invasion of Yugoslavia and Split being occupied by Italy. Smoje joined Communist Party of Yugoslavia and took part in local resistance movement. However, due to his rebellious nature, he was expelled from the Party, but he survived that, as well as brief incarceration by Italian authorities. Ivica Vidović (10 May 1939 – 18 April 2011) was a Croatian actor who appeared in many classic Yugoslav films from the 1960s until his death in 2011. Following his screen debut in 1962 film ''Rana jesen'', Vidović appeared in many films gradually developing screen personality of a quiet, soft-spoken and mild-mannered intellectual often at odds with primitive and violent surrounding. This image served him very well both in serious dramas and comedies. Boris Dvornik (; 16 April 1939 – 24 March 2008) was a Croatian actor. Biography Born in Split to the family of a carpenter, Dvornik discovered acting talent at an early age, while performing in children's plays. After studying to become an electrician, he began to pursue a full-time acting career. He studied at the National Acting School in Novi Sad and later enrolled at the Academy of Dramatic Art at the University of Zagreb. As a freshman, he was cast in the starring role of the 1960 Holocaust drama ''The Ninth Circle''. A year later, he showed his versatility by appearing in the popular comedy '' Martin in the Clouds''. Zvonimir "Zvonko" Lepetić (17 November 1928 – 4 January 1991) was one of the leading character actors of Croatian and Yugoslav cinema and television. Lepetić was born in Berane, Montenegro.
