Servando Bayo (October 27, 1822 – May 18, 1884) was an Argentine politician who served as the National Autonomist Party governor of the province of Santa Fe from April 7, 1874, to April 7, 1878. A native of Rosario, Bayo attended a military training institution and took part in the Battle of Cepeda with the rank of captain. As a politician, he was Rosario's Political Chief (comparable to a non-elected mayor), a senator, and governor of the province (with Juan Manuel Zavalla as his vice-governor). Governership Bayo is regarded as a dynamic ruler who supported progressive measures. Servando Carrasco (born August 13, 1988) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defensive midfielder. Career Carrasco spent his childhood living in Tijuana, Mexico, and attended St. Augustine High School in San Diego, California. Until the age of 19, he played for his high school and San Diego Surf Soccer Club, one of the most competitive soccer clubs in California. Servando Gómez Martínez (born February 6, 1966), commonly referred to by his alias La Tuta (The Teacher) for once being a teacher, is a Mexican drug lord and former leader of the Knights Templar Cartel, a criminal organization based in the state of Michoacán. He is a former leader and founder member of La Familia Michoacana drug cartel, the split-off group of the Knights Templar. On February 27, 2015, he was arrested by Mexican security forces in Morelia, Michoacán. Servando González Hernández (15 May 1923 – 5 October 2008) was a Mexican film director. He died in Mexico City on 5 October 2008, at the age of 85. Servando González started as an apprentice (gofer) at Estudios Clasa, a Mexican film studio. He climbed up the ladder of the movie industry and became head of the film laboratory of Estudios Churubusco. In 1968, as chief documentary filmmaker for the government of Mexico, he was asked to set up cameras on the Mexico City plaza, and had not anticipated he was about to film the Tlatelolco massacre. Fray José Servando Teresa de Mier Noriega y Guerra (October 18, 1765 – December 3, 1827) was a Roman Catholic priest, preacher, and politician in New Spain. He was imprisoned several times for his controversial beliefs, and lived in exile in Spain, France and England. His sermons and writings presented revisionist theological and historical opinions that supported republicanism. Mier worked with Francisco Javier Mina during the Mexican War of Independence and, as a deputy in independent Mexico's constituent Congress, opposed Agustín de Iturbide's claim to imperial rule. Servando Cabrera Moreno (1923–1981) was a Cuban painter. A supporter of the Cuban Revolution, he created many paintings that depict the Cuban peasantry. Stylistically, his paintings are rooted in the tradition of vanguardia, and are especially indebted to the work of Carlos Enríquez Gómez. Servando Cabrera Moreno was born in Havana on May 28, 1923.
