Amanda Serrano (born October 9, 1988) is a Puerto Rican professional boxer, mixed martial artist and professional wrestler. As a boxer, she is the unified featherweight world champion, having held the WBO title since 2019 and the WBC and IBO titles since 2021. She is the only female, and Puerto Rican, to win world titles in more than four weight classes, and holds the Guinness World Record for the most boxing world championships won in different weight-classes by a female, having held 9 major world titles across seven different weight classes.Serrano has won titles at super flyweight, bantamweight, super bantamweight, featherweight, super featherweight, lightweight and light welterweight. Joseph Serrano (born April 18, 1984 in Caguas, Puerto Rico) is a Puerto Rican who was an amateur boxing star. Serrano had an award-winning career as an amateur. A member of the Bairoa Gym boxing team, he met, among others, Miguel Cotto during his career as an amateur boxer. Cotto and Serrano forged a friendship as they belonged to the same team. Serrano joined the Puerto Rican Olympic boxing team that participated in Athens. He was widely expected to, at least, compete for a spot in the final rounds of his division, but he lost in the first round of the competition. As a matter of a fact, Alex de Jesús was the only boxer from Puerto Rico to win an Olympic fight from 1996 to 2012. The Congress of Tucumán was the representative assembly, initially meeting in San Miguel de Tucumán, that declared the independence of the United Provinces of South America (modern-day Argentina, Uruguay, part of Bolivia) on July 9, 1816, from the Spanish Empire. José Mariano Serrano (8 September 1788–1852) was a Bolivian-born statesman and jurist. He was a representative to the Congress of Tucumán of 9 July 1816 which declared the Independence of the provinces of the River Plate and presided over the assembly that declared the independence of Bolivia. Serrano was born in Chuquisaca (now Sucre) and became a lawyer. He left for Tucumán due to persecution, and was elected to represent Charcas (Sucre) in the 1813 Assembly and in the 1816 Congress in Tucumán, in which he acted as Secretary. He was a minister in the administrations of Aráoz and González, governors of the then much larger Tucumán Province and had represented Buenos Aires in the 1815 Observation ''Junta''. José António Serrano (6 October 1851 – 7 December 1904) was a Portuguese physician and anatomist. Serrano is particularly noted for his osteological treatise ''Tratado de Osteologia Humana'' (published in two volumes, in 1895 and 1897; awarded the prestigious Royal Academy of Sciences King Louis Award), and for his advances in surgery in Portugal: while a distinguished surgeon in Saint Joseph's Hospital in Lisbon, he was an early follower of Lister's aseptic technique, and the first in the country to perform a laparotomic histerectomy. Jorge Antonio Serrano Elías (born 26 April 1945) is a Guatemalan politician who served as President of Guatemala from January 14, 1991 to June 1, 1993.
