Serhiy Kuznetsov ( uk, Сергій Сергійович Кузнецов; born on 31 August 1982) is a Ukrainian football coach and a former player who played as a forward. He is a son of another footballer Serhiy Kuznetsov. He is registered with the Russian league as a Hungarian citizen. Playing career Kuznetsov began his footballing career in the Hungarian club Ferencváros, the club his father, also Serhiy Kuznetsov, joined in 1991 from Chornomorets. Serhiy Kuznetsov, a highly athletic striker, was noticed by the Professional Finnish side Jokerit in 2000, in which club Kuznetsov began his professional career. When playing in the Lithuanian premier league club FK Vėtra, Kuznetsov became the top scorer in the Lithuanian League, netting 19 goals in 42 appearances. 2008–09 Ukrainian Premier League
The 2008–09 Ukrainian Premier League season was the eighteenth since its establishment. The league was restructured and split off from the Professional Football League of Ukraine. It was officially named as the ''EpiCentre Championship of Ukraine in football''. Shakhtar Donetsk were the defending champions of the past season, having won their fourth league title. The season began on 16 July 2008 with a scoreless draw between Tavriya Simferopol and Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. The last round of matches were played on 26 May 2009. A total of 16 teams participated in the league, 14 of which had contested in the 2007–08 season, and two of which were promoted from the Persha Liha. FC Arsenal Tula (russian: ФК Арсенал Тула) is a Russian professional football club from Tula playing in the second-tier Russian First League.
