Serhiy Bezhenar
Serhiy Bezhenar (born 9 August 1970 in Nikopol, Ukrainian SSR) was a Ukrainian professional football player. Career He played in defense, usually as a fullback. Even though he won four championships (1995, 1996, 1997, 1998) and two cups (1996, 1998) with Dynamo Kyiv, Bezhenar was more closely associated with FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. Bezhenar played for the Soviet Union national under-21 football team and then the Ukraine national football team. For the Soviet youth team he played 6 games all during the 1992 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. Bezhenar took part in the Ukraine's first ever match, a friendly against Hungary in 1992. Nikopol, Ukraine
Nikopol ( uk, Ні́кополь ; from grc, Νικόπολις, lit=City of Victory) is a city and municipality ( hromada) in Nikopol District in the south of Ukraine, on the right bank of the Dnipro River, about 63 km south-east of Kryvyi Rih and 48 km south-west of Zaporizhzhia. Football Club Dnipro ( uk, Футбо́льний Клуб «Дніпро́», ) was a Ukrainian football club based in Dnipro. The club was owned by the Privat Group that also owns BC Dnipro and Budivelnyk Kyiv. In 2018 FC Dnipro was forced into bankruptcy by FIFA due to multiple legal claims for failing to pay its promised monetary compensation to players and managers. During the Soviet era, the club was a member of the Soviet Volunteer Sports Society "Metallurg" (therefore it carried names Metallurg/Metalurh and Stal) and until 1961 was under sponsorship of the Petrovsky Dnipropetrovsk Metallurgical Plant. Football Club Dynamo Kyiv (, ) is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Kyiv. Founded in 1927 as a Kyivan football team of republican branch of the bigger Soviet Dynamo Sports Society, the club as a separate business entity was officially formed only in 1989 and currently plays in the Ukrainian Premier League, and has never been relegated to a lower division. Football Club Arsenal Kyiv () is a Ukrainian football club based in Kyiv. In 2019, the club's professional team was dissolved, but its junior teams continue to compete in city competitions. The Süper Lig (, ''Super League''), officially known as Spor Toto Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons, is a Turkish professional league for association football clubs. It is the top-flight of the Turkish football league system and is run by the Turkish Football Federation. FC Chernomorets Novorossiysk (russian: ФК "Черноморец" Новороссийск) is the oldest Russian association football club based in Novorossiysk. It plays in the third-tier FNL 2.
