Sergiu Postică
Sergiu Postică (born May 17, 1985) is a Moldovan former swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. He is a two-time Olympian (2004 and 2008) and a multiple-time Moldovan record holder in the 100 and 200 m breaststroke. Postică made his first Moldovan team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, where he competed in the men's 200 m breaststroke. He edged out Kyrgyzstan's Anton Kramarenko to take a sixth spot and forty-fifth overall by more than a second in 2:27.21. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, Postică qualified for the men's 100 m breaststroke by eclipsing a FINA B-standard entry time of 1:03.71 from the Russian Open Championships in Saint Petersburg. Studies at Texas Christian University Edgar Crespo was a top swimmer at the college level. He received a scholarship as student/athlete to Texas Christian University. While he was in college he competed in events for both the university and his country. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (International Marketing and Entrepreneurship Management). He won a total of five medals (three golds, one silver, and one bronze), and set numerous records for both the 100 and 200 m breaststroke at the Southeast Asian Games (2003–2009). Nguyễn made his first Vietnamese Olympic team as a 15-year-old for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, where he competed in the men's 100 m breaststroke. Swimming in heat three, he rounded out a field of seven swimmers to place last and fifty-second overall by two thirds of a second (0.66) behind Estonia's Aleksander Baldin, with a time of 1:06.70.
