Sergio Zarzar Andonie
Sergio Zarzar Andonie (January 12, 1952) is an entrepreneur, conservative political professor Chilean of Palestinian origin, linked to the National Renewal Party. In the municipal elections in 2008 he was elected mayor of the town of Chillán with 64.15% of the votes cast. He graduated from the Colegio Seminario de Chillán in 1969. The following year he attended the University of Chile, Ñuble headquarters. He eventually became a professor of physical education. He became a leader of Ñublense in 1984. In the 1990s he founded the talk radio program ''Sports Dimension''. He was also a columnist for the newspaper ''La Discusion'', and hosted a television program on the old channel and direct RTU called ''Seminar Magazine''. In 2004 he served as the president of Ñublense, and in 2007 he became a director of the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (ANFP). He was subsequently elected mayor of Chillán. Chilean People
Chileans ( es, Chilenos) are people identified with the country of Chile, whose connection may be residential, legal, historical, ethnic, or cultural. For most Chileans, several or all of these connections exist and are collectively the source of their Chilean identity. Palestinian Christians ( ar, مَسِيحِيُّون فِلَسْطِينِيُّون, Masīḥiyyūn Filasṭīniyyūn) are Christian citizens of the State of Palestine. National Renewal ( es, Renovación Nacional, RN) is a liberal conservative political party in Chile. It is a member of Chile Vamos, a center-right to right-wing coalition. Sebastián Piñera, the former President of Chile, is a member of the party. Chillán
Chillán () is the capital city of the Ñuble Region in the Diguillín Province of Chile located about south of the country's capital, Santiago, near the geographical center of the country. It is the capital of the new Ñuble Region since 6 September 2015. Within the city are a railway station, an inter-city bus terminal, an agricultural extension of the University of Concepción, and a regimental military base. The city includes a modern-style enclosed shopping mall in addition to the multi-block open-air street market where fruits, vegetables, crafts and clothing are sold. The nearby mountains are a popular destination for skiing and hot spring bathing. Club Deportivo Ñublense () is a professional football team based in Chillán, Ñuble Region, Chile. The club was formed in 1916 under the name of Liceo Fútbol Club. They compete in Chile's Primera División league. History Amateur era Ñublense was formed in 1916 by a group of teenagers (led by Chillán teacher Manuel Lara Gutiérrez) who founded a sports club as a haven for sports activities in the city. On 20 August of that year, in the boys' high school the club was called the Liceo Fútbol Club. Other sports sponsored included basketball and boxing. The football team played for many years in local leagues, where they were champions for 11 consecutive years (1938–49).
