Sergio Tovar Velarde
Sergio Tovar Velarde, (born 31 December 1982) is a Mexican film director. He directed the feature film ''Mi último día'' (aka ''Aurora Boreal'') which was premiered at the San Sebastián International Film Festival and was released commercially in theaters in summer of 2009. He is one of the filmmakers of '' The Misfits'', alongside Javier Colinas, Marco Polo Constandse and Jorge Ramírez Suárez. Early life Tovar was born in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico. He studied communications at Ibero-American University in Mexico City and film theory at Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica. He studied directing with well-known Polish film director Ludwik Margules. In 2009, became FONCA's scholar. In 2009, 2006 and 2002 was FECAN's academic. Tepic
Tepic () is the capital and largest city of the western Mexican state of Nayarit, as well as the seat of the Tepic Municipality. Located in the central part of the state, it stands at an altitude of above sea level, on the banks of the Río Mololoa and the Río Tepic, approximately north-west of Guadalajara, Jalisco. An aurora (plural: auroras or aurorae), also commonly known as the polar lights, is a natural light display in Earth's sky, predominantly seen in high-latitude regions (around the Arctic and Antarctic). Auroras display dynamic patterns of brilliant lights that appear as curtains, rays, spirals, or dynamic flickers covering the entire sky. Auroras are the result of disturbances in the magnetosphere caused by the solar wind. Major disturbances result from enhancements in the speed of the solar wind from coronal holes and coronal mass ejections. These disturbances alter the trajectories of charged particles in the magnetospheric plasma. Jet lag is a physiological condition that results from alterations to the body's circadian rhythms caused by rapid long-distance trans-meridian (east–west or west–east) travel.
