Sergio Llull
Sergio Llull Melià (; born 15 November 1987) is a Spanish professional basketball player and the team captain for Real Madrid of the Spanish Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. He is a tall point guard and shooting guard. Llull is a two−time All-EuroLeague Team selection, and was the EuroLeague MVP of the 2016–17 season. As a regular member of the senior Spain national team, he has won a FIBA World Cup title, three EuroBasket gold medals, as well as a bronze. He also won two Summer Olympics medals, a silver in 2012, and a bronze in 2016. Professional career Early years Llull began his career playing for the La Salle Maò and CB i Unió Manresana junior clubs as a youth. He made his professional debut with the Spanish ACB League club Manresa during the 2005–06 season. He also played with the Spanish 4th Division club Finques Olesa that season, on loan. The ACB Finals Most Valuable Player Award is an award for the top-tier professional basketball league in Spain, the Spanish ACB League. The ACB first named a Finals Most Valuable Player after the 1990–91 ACB season. Since then, only three players have won the award more than once: Arvydas Sabonis (2 times), Juan Carlos Navarro (3 times), and Felipe Reyes (2 times). It started on 30 September 2016 with the first round of the regular season and ended on 16 June 2017 with the ACB Finals. The ACB Most Valuable Player Award is an annual award of the Liga ACB, the top-tier professional basketball league in Spain. The ACB handed out the award first after the 1991–92 ACB season. Since then, four players have won the award more than once: Darryl Middleton (3-time winner), Arvydas Sabonis, Tanoka Beard, and Luis Scola (2-time winners).
