Sergio Escudero (エスクデロ 競飛王, ''Esukudero Seruhio''; ; born September 1, 1988) is a professional football (soccer), football. Born in Spain, he has represented Japan internationally. He is the son of Argentine-Japanese footballer Sergio Escudero (footballer, born 1964), Sergio Ariel Escudero. Biography As the son of a former Argentine-Japanese footballer of Sergio Escudero (footballer, born 1964), the same name, he was born to Spanish settlement in Argentina, Argentine parents of Spanish descent in Spain, and thus held dual Argentine and Spanish citizenship. Osvaldo Salvador Escudero (born October 15, 1960 in Paso de los Libres, Corrientes) is a former Argentine professional footballer. He was part of the Argentina Under-20 team that won the 1979 FIFA World Youth Championship in Japan. Escudero started his career with Chacarita Juniors in 1978, he also played for Boca Juniors where he won the Metropolitano 1981 and at Rosario Central where he won the 1986–1987 championship. He was a well-travelled professional, playing for a number of clubs in Argentina, Spain, Mexico and Brazil after starting out at Vélez Sarsfield. Escudero was an Argentina youth international. is a former Argentine football player. His brother Osvaldo Escudero and son Sergio Escudero are also footballers.
