Sergio Coronado
Sergio Coronado (born 13 May 1970) is a French politician, former member of the French National Assembly representing French residents overseas. Biography Early life Sergio Coronado left Chile with his family after the coup d'état of General Pinochet in 1973. He grew up in Argentina, and arrived in France in 1982. At the end of 2008, he won a scholarship in political science, and moved to Bogotá, Colombia. He attends the Universidad Externado de Colombia, and joins the ADFE-Français du Monde association. On 20 February 2008, he published a biography devoted to Íngrid Betancourt published by Fayard Edition. In June 2012, on the occasion of the Pride parade, he came out as gay on Twitter. The Socialist Party (french: Parti socialiste , PS) is a French centre-left and social-democratic political party. It holds pro-European views. The PS was for decades the largest party of the "French Left" and used to be one of the two major political parties in the French Fifth Republic, along with The Republicans. ''Le Parisien'' (; French for "The Parisian") is a French daily newspaper covering both international and national news, and local news of Paris and its suburbs. It is owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE, better known as LVMH. History and profile The paper was established as ''Le Parisien libéré'' (meaning "The Freed Parisian" in English) by Émilien Amaury in 1944, and was published for the first time on 22 August 1944. Dominique Voynet (born 4 November 1958) is a French politician who is a member of Europe Écologie–The Greens. She is the former mayor of Montreuil and was a French senator for the ''département'' of Seine-Saint-Denis. Life Dominique Voynet trained as a doctor, specifically as an anesthetist. Eva Joly (; born Gro Eva Farseth; 5 December 1943) is a Norwegian-born French ''juge d'instruction'' (magistrate) and politician for Europe Écologie–The Greens. 2002 French Presidential Election
Presidential elections were held in France on 21 April 2002, with a runoff election between the top two candidates, incumbent Jacques Chirac of the Rally for the Republic and Jean-Marie Le Pen of the National Front, on 5 May. This presidential contest attracted a greater than usual amount of international attention because of far-right candidate Le Pen's unexpected appearance in the runoff election. Noël Mamère
Noël Mamère (born 25 December 1948 in Libourne, Gironde) is a French journalist and politician. He was the mayor of Bègles in Gironde as well as deputy to the French National Assembly for that constituency. He was for several years a member of the party Europe Écologie–The Greens, but left it in late September 2013. Biography Noël Mamère rose to fame in the 1980s as a journalist and anchorman, in particular on Antenne 2.
