Sergio Campana (footballer)
Sergio Campana (born 1 August 1934) is an Italian lawyer and former professional footballer who played as a forward. He served as the first President of the Italian Footballers' Association (AIC), from its inception in 1968, until 2011, when he decided to step down. Bassano Del Grappa
Bassano del Grappa ( vec, Basan or ''Bassan'', ) is a city and ''comune'', in the Vicenza province, in the region of Veneto, in northern Italy. It bounds the communes of Cassola, Marostica, Solagna, Pove del Grappa, Romano d'Ezzelino, Campolongo sul Brenta, Conco, Rosà, Cartigliano and Nove. Some neighbourhoods of these communes have become in practice a part of the urban area of Bassano, so that the population of the whole conurbation totals around 70,000 people. The Italian Footballers' Association (Italian language, Italian: ''Associazione Italiana Calciatori''), also referred to by the acronym AIC, is the trade union, association for Association football, footballers in Italy. It was established in 1968 and currently has 4,500 members, of which 2,500 are Professional sports, professionals. The aims of the AIC are to protect, improve and negotiate the conditions, rights and status of all professional players by collective bargaining agreements.
