Sérgio Mendes Coimbra known as Serginho Paulista (little Sérgio of São Paulo) (born 13 March 1988) is a Football in Brazil, Brazilian footballer who plays for Operário Ferroviário Esporte Clube, Operário Ferroviário. Biography Born in São Paulo (state), São Paulo state, Serginho started his career at São Paulo FC. He scored once for the team at 2007 Campeonato Paulista, 2007 São Paulo state championship. He made his Campeonato Brasileiro Série A debut in a 1–2 away defeat to Clube Atlético Paranaense, Atlético Paranaense on 2 December 2007. Replaced Leandro Lessa Azevedo, Leandro in the 46th minute and played the entire 2nd half of the match. He then spent a season on loan to Marília Atlético Clube, Marília, for 2008 Campeonato Paulista, 2008 state league and 2008 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B. Campeonato Brasileiro Série C
The Campeonato Brasileiro Série C is the third tier of the Brazilian football league system. Unlike the first and second divisions, the Série C is not played in a double round robin system, arguably because many participating teams lack the financial conditions to travel long distances. Thus, the tournament is organized in regional groups and the table prevents teams from distant states from playing each other in the initial rounds. Until 2008, any professional team could apply, but only 64 teams would take part in the tournament. The teams that had been relegated from the Série B in the previous year were joined by teams qualified for each federation state. Qualification rules varied, some federations used the state tournaments as qualification tournaments, others organized exclusive qualification tournaments to the Série C. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série D (English: Brazilian Championship Serie D) is the fourth division of the Brazilian football league system, and was announced by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) on April 9, 2008. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série D was formed from the split of the Série C, keeping its best 20 clubs and playing double round robin as does the top three divisions. The Série D keeps the same format of the older Série C, but with participation limited to 40 clubs recognized by the state federation. In 2016 the Série D was expanded to 68 clubs, but in 2022 it will be reduced to 64 clubs. 2011 Campeonato Brasileiro Série D
In 2011, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série D, the fourth division of the Brazilian League, will be contested for the third time in history, during 18 July and 13 November. It will be contested by 40 clubs, four of which will eventually qualify to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C to be contested in 2012. Competition format The 40 teams are divided in eight groups of 5, playing within them in a double round-robin format. The two best ranked in each group at the end of 10 rounds will qualify to the Second Stage, which will be played in home-and-away system. Winners advance to Third Stage. The quarterfinal winners will be promoted to the Série C 2012. As there is no Série E, or fifth division, technically there will be no relegation. Sérgio Severino da Silva known as Serginho (little Sérgio) (born 27 September 1978), is a Brazilian footballer. Serginho spent most of his career in native Pernambuco and nearby Northeast states. He played a few seasons in Campeonato Brasileiro Série C and was a substitute player of Sport Recife in Série A and Série B. Biography Born in Recife, capital of Pernambuco state, he played for Campeonato Pernambucano side Ypiranga in 2005. He then left for Vera Cruz of Vitória de Santo Antão in April.
