Sergey Ivanovich Lomanov (russian: Сергей Иванович Ломанов; born 22 May 1957 in Krasnoyarsk) is a Russian bandy manager and former player (forward). He made 183 goals for the Soviet Union national bandy team. He played his club bandy for Yenisey Krasnoyarsk and IK Sirius. Krasnoyarsk ( ; rus, Красноя́рск, a=Ru-Красноярск2.ogg, p=krəsnɐˈjarsk) (in semantic translation - Red Ravine City) is the largest city and administrative center of Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. Yenisey Krasnoyarsk Bandy Club
Yenisey (russian: Енисе́й) is a bandy club from Krasnoyarsk, Russia. Yenisey has historically been a very successful club, having won the national championship sixteen times, last in 2021, and the Bandy World Cup in 1982, 1984, 2011 and 2015 and been runners-up in 1983, 1985 and 2000. After the 2011/12 season, Sergey Lomanov Jr was named the best player of the national championship. In 2017, former Mayor of Krasnoyarsk, Pyotr Pimashkov, became the new club president. During the period when Yenisey Stadium was being rebuilt to become an indoor arena, Lokomotiv Stadium was the temporary home arena. In December 2018 the new indoor arena was opened. IK Sirius
IK Sirius is a Swedish bandy club located in Uppsala, currently playing in Elitserien. IK Sirius were formed in 1907 and play their home games at Studenternas Idrottsplats. History IK Sirius' first success was becoming Swedish runners-up in 1918, they followed this up by becoming Swedish champions twice in 1921 and 1922, but they then didn't have any more success in the league until 1926 where they were runners-up and they were also runners-up in 1928. In the first year of bandy league system in Sweden, 1930–31, Sirius entered in Division 1 Norra together with AIK, Hammarby IF, IF Vesta, IFK Rättvik, Skutskärs IF, SK Tirfing, and Västerås SK and finished 5th. In the 1960s the club came back as one of the strongest in the league, finishing second behind Västerås SK in 1960. Soviet Union National Bandy Team
The Soviet Union national bandy team represented the Soviet Union in bandy. It was controlled by the Federation of bandy and field hockey USSR. Even if bandy was a popular sport domestically in the 1920s and 1930s, the Soviet Union did not compete in any internationals back then. Agreements were made to play friendlies against Sweden in the late 1940s, but the plans did not come to realization. However, after having seen Finland, Norway and Sweden playing bandy at the Winter Olympics in Oslo in 1952, the Soviet Union invited these three countries to a four nation bandy tournament in 1954. This was the first time a Soviet national bandy team met other national bandy teams. The four countries used somewhat different rules prior to this tournament, but the rules were adjusted to be the same for the future. Sergey Sergeyevich Lomanov (russian: Сергей Сергеевич Ломанов; born 2 June 1980 in Krasnoyarsk) is a Russian bandy player (forward), currently playing for Yenisey. He has been team captain of Russia, but during the 2018–19 season declined to continue with the national team. He is the son of Sergey Ivanovich Lomanov. In 2016 he was part of the delegation received by President Vladimir Putin and was also selected as the best Russian Bandy Super League player for the fourth year in a row. At the Opening Ceremony of the 2019 Winter Universiade he lit the fire, together with former gymnast Svetlana Khorkina. Career Lomanov started his career in Yenisey and made his senior debut in 1997.
