Serge Lilo
Serge Lilo (born 3 April 1985) is a New Zealand rugby union player who represented the Wellington Lions in the Air New Zealand Cup (now known as the Mitre 10 Cup) and the Hurricanes in Super Rugby. Career Representative Rugby Lilo was a member of the New Zealand under 19 team that won the 2004 IRB Under 19 Rugby World Championship in South Africa. Provincial Rugby Lilo made his debut for the Wellington Lions in 2005 against Auckland. Lilo's 2007 season was cut short when he sustained a serious knee injury early in Wellington's Air New Zealand Cup 45-3 quarter-final victory over the Southland Stags. The injury forced Lilo to miss the 2008 Super 14 season and he didn't return to rugby until May 2008. Ben Herring
Ben Herring (born 14 March 1980) is a professional rugby coach, and served as head coach of the Otago rugby team until the 2020 season. Herring has coached two national sides, Canada and Japan, and two super franchises Highlanders and Sunwolves. Coaching career 2009–2011 Herring was appointed assistant coach at Leicester Tigers by director of rugby Richard Cockerill. He had over 60 games as coach, including Heineken Cup semifinals and winning two Premiership titles 2008–09, 2009–10, and beaten finalist 2010–11. 2011–2013 Japanese club side the NEC Green Rockets recruited Herring to coach alongside former Blues head coach Greg Cooper. The Melbourne Rebels is an Australian professional rugby union team based in Melbourne. They made their debut in SANZAR's Super Rugby tournament in 2011. The Chiefs (formerly known as the Waikato Chiefs and officially called the Gallagher Chiefs for sponsorship reasons) are a New Zealand professional rugby union team based in Hamilton, Waikato. 2007 Super 14 Season
The 2007 Super 14 season started in February 2007 with preseason matches held from mid-January. It finished on 19 May with the final at ABSA Stadium in Durban, in the first final between two South African teams in the history of Super Rugby. The visiting Bulls won the 2007 Super 14 Final, scoring a try in the 83rd minute and narrowly defeating the Sharks 20–19, thereby becoming the first South African side to win the Super Rugby title in the professional era.
