Serge Giguère
Serge Giguère (born 1946 in Arthabaska, Quebec) is a Canadian documentary filmmaker. He is most noted as a two-time winner of the Prix Jutra/Iris for Best Documentary Film, winning at the 9th Jutra Awards in 2007 for '' Driven by Dreams (À force de rêves)'' and at the 17th Jutra Awards in 2015 for '' Finding Macpherson (Le mystère Macpherson)''. He was previously nominated, but did not win, in the same category at the 2nd Jutra Awards in 2000 for '' The Megaphone Reel (Le Réel du mégaphone)'', and was a nominee for Best Sound in a Documentary at the 21st Quebec Cinema Awards in 2019 for '' My Mother's Letters (Les lettres de ma mère)''. Victoriaville
Victoriaville is a town in central Quebec, Canada, on the Nicolet River. Victoriaville is the seat of Arthabaska Regional County Municipality and a part of the Centre-du-Québec (Bois-Francs) region. It is formed by the 1993 merger of Arthabaska, Saint-Victoire-d'Arthabaska and Victoriaville, the name of the last being used for the merged town. ''24 heures ou plus'' (also written as ''24 heures ou plus...'' or ''Vingt-quatre heures ou plus...'') is a radical political documentary about Quebec society, shot in 1971 and completed by director by Gilles Groulx by mid-January 1973. However, the film was initially suppressed by producer National Film Board of Canada and not released until February 1977. The ''Moose Jaw Times-Herald'' was a daily newspaper serving the city of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada, and the surrounding area. It was printed Tuesdays through Saturdays (Monday editions ended in 2016). J.N. McDonald founded the ''Times'' as a weekly in 1889. One of its early owner-editors was Thomas Walter Scott in 1894–1895. Scott would later become the first Premier of Saskatchewan.
