Serbian League East
Serbian League East ( Serbian: Српска лига Исток / Srpska liga Istok) is one of four sections of the Serbian League, the third national tier. The other three sections are Serbian League Belgrade, Serbian League Vojvodina and Serbian League West. It is also the highest regional league for the eastern part of Serbia. The league was founded in 2003 following a merger between the Serbian League Niš and the Serbian League Timok. Format The league is formed by 16 clubs which play all against one another twice, once at home, once away. Champion Serbian League East goes to Serbian First League. FK Radnički Svilajnac
FK Radnički Svilajnac () is a football club based in Svilajnac, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian League East, the third tier of the national league system. History The club started competing in the newly formed Serbian League Timok in 1995. They finished as runners-up in the NATO bombing-suspended 1998–99 season and gained promotion to the Second League of FR Yugoslavia. The club spent three seasons in the second tier, competing in Group East from 1999 to 2002. In 2003, they were relegated to the Pomoravlje Zone League, the fourth tier of Serbia and Montenegro football. FK Timok 1919 () is a football club based in Zaječar, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian League East, the third tier of the national league system. History Founded in 1919, the club participated in the regional leagues during its early stages. They achieved their first notable success by defeating Dinamo Zagreb 3–1 in the first round of the 1973 Yugoslav Cup. The club also competed in the Yugoslav Second League for three seasons between 1981 and 1984. After the dissolution of SFR Yugoslavia, the club advanced to the second tier for the second time, finishing bottom of the table in the 1992–93 Second League of FR Yugoslavia. Fudbalski klub Radnički (), commonly known as Radnički Niš ( sr-cyr, Раднички Ниш), is a professional football club based in ok Niš, Serbia.
