The Serbian Guard ( sr, Српска гарда / ''Srpska garda'') was a Serbian paramilitary active in the Croatian War with close ties to the Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO). ''Vreme'' ( Serbian for ''Time'') is a weekly news magazine based in Belgrade, Serbia. A caporegime or capodecina, usually shortened to capo or informally referred to as "captain" or "skipper", is a rank used in the Mafia (both the Sicilian Mafia and Italian-American Mafia) for a ''made member'' of an Italian crime family who heads a "crew" of soldiers and has major social status and influence in the organization. Battle Of Borovo Selo
The Battle of Borovo Selo of 2 May 1991, known in Croatia as the Borovo Selo massacre ( hr, Pokolj u Borovom Selu) and in Serbia as the Borovo Selo incident ( sr, Инцидент у Боровом Селу), was one of the first armed clashes in the conflict which became known as the Croatian War of Independence. The clash was precipitated by months of rising ethnic tensions, violence, and armed combat in Pakrac and at the Plitvice Lakes in March. The Zemun Clan (Serbian Cyrillic: Земунски клан) is one of the Belgrade clans of the Serbian mafia. It is named for the gang's base in Zemun, a municipality of Belgrade. The State Security Service, also known by its original name as the Directorate for State Security, was the secret police organization of Communist Yugoslavia. Nebojša Pavković
Nebojša Pavković ( sr-cyr, Небојша Павковић; born 10 April 1946) is a Serbian retired army general who served as Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Yugoslavia from February 2000 to June 2002. He also served as the Commandeer of Third Army of the Armed Forces of Yugoslavia during the Kosovo War, from December 1998 to February 2000. In 2009, he was convicted by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) of committing crimes against humanity and war crimes in the Kosovo War.
