Serangoon North MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Cross Island line located on the boundary of Serangoon and Hougang planning areas, Singapore. It will be located underneath Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3, at the junctions of Serangoon North Avenue 1 and Serangoon North Avenue 3. Serangoon
Serangoon () is a planning area and residential town located in the North-East Region of Singapore. Serangoon is bordered by these planning areas – Sengkang to the north, Hougang to the east, Ang Mo Kio and Bishan to the west, as well as Toa Payoh to the south. Serangoon planning area has a total of seven subzones: Serangoon Central, Lorong Chuan, Upper Paya Lebar, Serangoon Garden, Serangoon North, Seletar Hills and Serangoon North Industrial Estate. Hougang is a planning area and mature residential town located in the North-East Region of Singapore. The town is the most populous in the region, being home to 247,528 residents as of 2018. Serangoon North Village and Estate is a cluster of HDB apartment flats located north of Serangoon Central separated by Serangoon Gardens to the west and private housing estates to the east with Yio Chu Kang Road connecting the two areas. It is a subzone of the neighbouring area Hougang. It is sandwiched between Ang Mo Kio to the west, Serangoon Gardens to the southwest, and Hougang to the east. Serangoon Garden Secondary School (SGS) is a co-educational government secondary school located in Serangoon, Singapore. History Serangoon Garden Secondary School was founded in 1959 as Lichfield Secondary School at Lichfield Road in Serangoon. The Al-Istiqamah Mosque ( ms, Masjid Al-Istiqamah) is a mosque in Serangoon, Singapore which was completed in 1999. It is located at Serangoon North Estate, at the corner of Yio Chu Kang Road and Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3, with the front entrance at Serangoon North Avenue 2. Etymology As one of the mosque built under the Mosque Building & Mendaki Fund scheme headed by MUIS, it is named after virtuous qualities as a continuation from the first one – Masjid Al-Khair (The Good). Initially, MUIS had suggested the name "As-Sobr" (The Patient) for this mosque but after consultation with a few local Islamic scholars, the name "Al-Istiqamah" (the Constant) was chosen. Aviation Park MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Cross Island line (CRL) located in Changi, Singapore, located next to Changi Coast Road and Aviation Park Road. The station will serve the Airport Logistics Park of Singapore, FedEx – TNT Ship Center, Changi Exhibition Centre, Changi Ferry Terminal and Changi Beach Park.
