Sequoyah High School is a public high school located in Hickory Flat, Georgia, United States. It educates students in grades 9– 12. It opened in the fall of 1990 and is one of six high schools in Cherokee County. The school is informally located in the small neighborhood of Hickory Flat on a three-school plot of land dubbed the Ralph Quarles Educational Complex, consisting of Hickory Flat Elementary, Dean Rusk Middle, and Sequoyah High School. The complex is on the northwest block of the intersection of East Cherokee Drive and Hickory Road. Preliminary schools in the Sequoyah cluster are Hickory Flat, Indian Knoll, Mountain Road, and Holly Springs Elementaries, and Dean Rusk Middle School. In athletics the school participates in Classification AAAA, Region/Area 7. Sequoyah High School (also known as Sequoyah-Tahlequah) is a Native American boarding school serving students in grades 7 through 12, who are members of a federally recognized Native American tribe. Sequoyah High School (Claremore, Oklahoma)
Sequoyah High School is a public high school founded in 1908 located in Claremore, Oklahoma. The school colors are blue and gold, and the mascot is an eagle. History In 1908, the first graduating class left a two-story schoolhouse that was located on the current site. In 1936 an indoor gymnasium and high school building were added. In 1957 the gym and high school burned to the ground but were rebuilt by 1959. Another fire destroyed the elementary building in 1975. A new elementary school was built. The next 15 years saw a new middle school, football program, band program, track, and the Olan Graham field house that is still used today. Sequoyah High School is a public high school in Madisonville, Tennessee. The school, a part of Monroe County Schools (Tennessee), Monroe County Schools, was built in 1995 and combined Vonore High School and Madisonville High School. It is named after the Cherokee Indian Sequoyah. It serves grades 9-12 and is one of three high schools in Monroe County. The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
