Septicflesh Albums
Septicflesh (formerly known as Septic Flesh) are a Greek death metal band from Athens, founded in 1990. History Septicflesh were formed in Athens in March 1990 by Sotiris Vayenas (guitar), Spiros Antoniou (bass and vocals), and Christos Antoniou (guitars). They released a debut EP, ''Temple of the Lost Race'' in December with Black Power Records, 1991. The band recorded their first full-length album, '' Mystic Places of Dawn'', in April 1994 at the Storm studio with the co-production of Magus Wampyr Daoloth (who had been the keyboardist for Rotting Christ). released by Holy Records. They started working on a new album for 1995 and named it '' Esoptron''. It was produced by Septic Flesh and George Zacharopoulos, recorded and mixed at Storm Studios in March - April 1995, mastered by Sonic Contact (France), and released by Holy Records Session vocalist Natalie Rassoulis joined for '' The Ophidian Wheel'' (1997) and again for '' A Fallen Temple'' (1998). Spiros Antoniou
Spiros Antoniou (Greek: Σπύρος Αντωνίου; born 24 October 1973 in Athens, Greece) is a Greek death metal singer, bassist, and visual artist best known for his work with Greek symphonic death metal band Septicflesh, in which he has been since 1990 foundation and of which he is a founding member. He has also contributed to bands such as TheDevilWorx, Chaostar, and Thou Art Lord. Antoniou is also a visual artist under the pseudonym Seth Siro Anton. He made the cover art for almost every Septicflesh release (including re-issues), as well as several cover paintings for other bands such as: Decapitated, Devian, Vader, Paradise Lost, Belphegor, Nile, Soilwork, Caliban, Heaven Shall Burn, Serenity, Kamelot, Flowing Tears, Moonspell, Methedras, Universum, The Foreshadowing, and Old Man's Child Old Man's Child is a Norwegian black metal band from the city of Oslo. Aborted is a Belgian death metal band formed in 1995 in Waregem. The group currently consists of vocalist, founder and only constant member Sven de Caluwé, guitarist Ian Jekelis, bassist Stefano Franceschini and drummer Ken Bedene. Although the band originally had an entire lineup of members living in Belgium, Aborted's current lineup now features members from Belgium, The Netherlands, Iceland and the United States. Rage (German Band)
Rage is a German heavy metal band formed in 1984 by Peter "Peavy" Wagner. They were part of the German heavy/speed/power metal scene which emerged in the early to mid-1980s, and have been referred to as one of the country's so-called "big four" of power metal, along with Grave Digger, Helloween and Running Wild. Rage was formed in 1984 under the name Avenger. Orphaned Land
Orphaned Land is an Israeli heavy metal band, formed in 1991 under the name Resurrection (changing their name in 1992 to the current name), that combines Israeli Jewish, Mizrahi, and other West Asian influences. They are considered the pioneers of oriental metal. The band has gone through several lineup changes over the years, but has retained two of the founding members, Kobi Farhi (vocals) and Uri Zelcha ( bass). They are joined by Matan Shmuely (drums), Chen Balbus (guitar/keyboard) who replaced co-founding member Matti Svatizky in 2012, and Idan Amsalem (guitars/bouzouki) who replaced co-founding member Yossi Sassi in early 2014.
