Sep Vanmarcke
Sep Vanmarcke (born 27 July 1988) is a Belgian professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . In August 2021 he was named to the start list for the Vuelta a España, his seventh Grand Tour. Career Vanmarcke was born in Kortrijk. Garmin–Cervélo (2011–2012) He took the biggest win of his career to date on the 2012 Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, attacking fiercely twice. The first attack came on the Molenberg climb, thinning the field, and he attacked again on the 'Lange Munte' cobbled section to reduce the lead group to only two competitors, Juan Antonio Flecha () and Tom Boonen (). He outsprinted them to claim the victory. 2021 Vuelta A España
The 2021 Vuelta a España was a three-week cycling race which took place in Spain between 14 August and 5 September 2021. It was the 76th edition of the Vuelta a España and the third and final grand tour of the 2021 men's road cycling season. The race departed from Burgos and finished in Santiago de Compostela. The race was won by Primož Roglič of , his third consecutive victory in the race. He became only the third rider to win the race in three successive years. He won by 4' 42", the largest margin of victory since Alex Zülle won by 5' 07" in 1997. He first took the red jersey on the first stage time trial before relinquishing the jersey to breakaway riders on two occasions. Roglič proceeded to win three more stages, stage 11 to Valdepeñas de Jaén, stage 17 to Lagos de Covadonga, and the final day's time trial in Santiago de Compostela, on his way to overall victory. Zdeněk Štybar (; born 11 December 1985) is a Czech professional cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . While best known as a cyclo-cross racer, in 2011 Štybar began his professional road career while continuing to race cyclo-cross. Career Early life and cyclo-cross career Štybar was born in Planá u Mariánských Lázní. Following consecutive second places in 2008 and 2009, Štybar won the 2010 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in his home nation. In 2011, he won the World championships for a second time. Quick-Step (2011–2022) In March 2011, Stybar joined the UCI World Tour team to combine his cyclo-cross career with a career in road cycling.
