Sun-Sentinel
The ''Sun Sentinel'' (also known as the ''South Florida Sun Sentinel'', known until 2008 as the ''Sun-Sentinel'', and stylized on its masthead as ''SunSentinel'') is the main daily newspaper of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as well as surrounding Broward County and southern Palm Beach County. It circulates all throughout the three counties that comprise South Florida. It is the largest-circulation newspaper in the area. Paul Pham has held the position of general manager since November 2020, and Julie Anderson has held the position of editor-in-chief since February 2018. ''The Sentinel'' is the official student newspaper of the Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. As of the Fall semester of 2018, the Sentinel has a weekly circulation between 5,000 and 6,000, distributed to over 30 locations on the Kennesaw State University campus. The first issue of ''The Sentinel'' was published on October 3, 1966, shortly after the charter quarter of Kennesaw State. Robert McDearmid served as the charter editor in chief. The paper has printed continuously since its founding. It is published weekly during the school year, with limited issues during the summer semester. Greater Media, Inc., known as Greater Media, was an American media company that specialized in radio stations. The markets where they owned radio stations included Boston, Detroit, Philadelphia, Charlotte, and the state of New Jersey. The company was formed in 1956 in Southbridge, Massachusetts, and its headquarters were located in Braintree, Massachusetts.
