"Sensuality" is a song by British group Lovestation, released as a single in 1998. Lovestation
Lovestation are a British electronic dance music group formed by Vicky Aspinall in 1989, who subsequently worked with co-producer David Morgan. Gospel singer-songwriter Lisa Hunt has also appeared on several Lovestation records. Active throughout the 1990s, they released their sole debut album, ''Soulsation'' in 2000, containing '90s hits such as "Love Come Rescue Me", "Shine on Me" and "Best of My Love". They are best known for their cover of Womack & Womack's " Teardrops", which reached No. 14 on the UK Singles Chart. History In 1992, Aspinall and Morgan founded the independent dance label Fresh Records (no relation to the post-punk label of the same name), initially for their own Lovestation releases. Contemporary R&B (or simply R&B) is a popular music genre that combines rhythm and blues with elements of pop, soul, funk, hip hop, and electronic music. UK Garage
UK garage, abbreviated as UKG, is a genre of electronic dance music which originated in England in the early to mid-1990s. The genre was most clearly inspired by garage house, but also incorporates elements from dance-pop, R&B, and jungle. It is defined by percussive, shuffled rhythms with syncopated hi-hats, cymbals, and snares, and may include either 4/4 house kick patterns or more irregular " 2-step" rhythms. Garage tracks also commonly feature 'chopped up' and time-stretched or pitch-shifted vocal samples complementing the underlying rhythmic structure at a tempo usually around 130 BPM. Teardrops (Lovestation Song)
"Teardrops" is a 1988 song by American husband/wife duo Womack & Womack (Cecil and Linda Womack), released as the first single from their fourth studio album, ''Conscience'' (1988). The song was written by Womack & Womack, who also served as the producers of the track alongside Chris Blackwell. Although the song was not a hit in their native United States, it charted highly in the United Kingdom and several European countries, as well as Australia and New Zealand. In 1993, Elton John and k.d. lang covered "Teardrops" for John's album ''Duets''.
