Seninho
Arsénio Rodrigues Jardim (1 July 1949 – 4 July 2020), commonly known as Seninho, was a Portuguese professional footballer who played as a right winger. Club career Seninho was born in Sá da Bandeira, Portuguese Angola. In his country, he only played with FC Porto, making his Primeira Liga debut in the 1969–70 season, which he ended with 18 games and six goals to help his team to the ninth position. He won the only national championship of his career with the club in 1978, contributing 29 matches and four goals to the feat. Subsequently, aged 29, Seninho moved to the United States where he remained until his retirement, playing five years with the New York Cosmos and two with the Chicago Sting and winning the North American Soccer League with both sides – three titles with the former. The 1984 North American Soccer League season was the 72nd season of FIFA-sanctioned soccer, the 17th with a national first-division league, in the United States and Canada. Lubango
Lubango, formerly known as Sá da Bandeira, is a municipality in Angola, capital of the Huíla Province, with a population of 914,456 in 2022. The city center had a population of 600,751 in 2014 making it the second-most populous city in Angola after the capital city Luanda. Overview The league comprised 24 teams; for the only time in NASL history, the lineup of teams was identical to the year before, with no clubs joining or dropping out, franchise shifts or even name changes. The New York Cosmos defeated the Fort Lauderdale Strikers in the finals on September 21 to win the championship. For the third time in league history the team with the most wins (Seattle) did not win the regular season due to the NASL's system of awarding bonus points for goals scored.
