Chuck Riley (politician)
Chuck Riley (born May 31, 1939) is an American politician who served as a member of the Oregon State Senate for the 15th district, which includes Hillsboro, Forest Grove, and Cornelius in western Washington County. He served three terms in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2005 to 2011. Riley was the Democratic nominee for Senate District 15 in 2010, losing to incumbent state senator Bruce Starr. However, Riley prevailed in a rematch against Starr in 2014, winning in the tightest Oregon legislative election of the year. Dick Riley
Richard "Dick" D. Riley (7 June 1930 – 7 December 2009) was a New Hampshire gun shop owner, state senator and political activist. Between 1964 and 1968 Riley served two terms in the New Hampshire State Senate representing Hooksett. Riley opened a store, Riley's Sports Shop, in Manchester, New Hampshire in 1953, later moving the store to Hooksett. Riley retired in 1987, selling the store to employees. It changed hands again in 2014 before closing in November 2019. He was an active target shooter, becoming state muzzle-loading champion between 1958 and 1960. Henry Hiram Riley (born September 1, 1813 - February 8, 1888) was a lawyer, writer, and state senator in Michigan. He established a law practice in Constantine, Michigan. Riley was born in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. He was orphaned at 10 and lived with his uncle in New Hartford, New York. Richard Wilson Riley (born January 2, 1933) is an American politician, the United States Secretary of Education under President Bill Clinton and the 111th governor of South Carolina. He is a member of the Democratic Party. Riley is the only Democrat to serve two consecutive terms as governor in the time since the state constitution was amended to allow governors to serve consecutive terms. Tom Riley (January 9, 1929 – July 21, 2011) was an American lawyer from Cedar Rapids, Iowa who served two terms in the Iowa House of Representatives and four in the Iowa Senate. Background Riley was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on January 9, 1929 to Joseph W. Riley and Edna Kyle Riley. He graduated from Franklin High School in Cedar Rapids in 1946, then earned a B.A. and Juris Doctor degrees at the University of Iowa in 1950 and 1952 respectively.
