Carlo Vanzina
Carlo Vanzina (13 March 1951 – 8 July 2018) was an Italian film director, producer and screenwriter. Vanzina was born in Rome, the son of Maria Teresa Nati and film director Stefano Vanzina and brother of Enrico Vanzina. In English-speaking countries, he is likely best known for his 1985 giallo '' Nothing Underneath'', starring Donald Pleasence and Renee Simonsen, which received a substantial home video release and aired on cable frequently. He would effectively remake his own film in 2011 as ''The Last Fashion Show'' with Richard E. Grant. Many of his projects were made for Italian television with English-speaking actors, and in turn these films received English-language home video releases in America. He frequently worked with models-turned-actresses such as Renee Simonsen, Carole Bouquet, Carol Alt, Lauren Hutton, and Elle Macpherson. Ezio Greggio (; born 7 April 1954) is an Italian-born Albanian comedian, actor, writer and film director. In Italy he is mostly known for his long-lasting appearances in TV shows like '' Drive In'' and '' Striscia la notizia'', while abroad he is noted for his movies and his collaboration with Mel Brooks. TV career Born in Cossato, a small town near Biella, Greggio began his TV career at age 18 in Telebiella, the first local private owned station in Italy thanks to the help of founder Peppo Sacchi. Michele Merkin (born June 25, 1975) is an American former model and television host. Early life and beginnings Merkin was born in Santa Clara County, California, of Swedish and Russian Jewish descent as the youngest child of four children. She attended boarding school in England. Her mother was from Sweden and had been a model for twenty years, including an appearance in the debut Victoria's Secret catalog in 1977. Merkin was a tall child, reaching by the age of 14.
