Selston High School is a Mixed-sex education, mixed secondary school that educates students aged 11–16. It is located in Selston, Nottinghamshire, England. The headteacher is Mr Paul Halcro. History The school was previously called ''Matthew Holland School'', named after the chairman of the local education committee at the time of its construction, who lived locally. The subsequent name change was the subject of much debate as it had been known as Matthew Holland for more than half a century. The building was constructed in the late 1930s, and during the war was on standby for use as a hospital until being established as an educational institution in late 1945 or early 1946. After a long campaign, the school obtained community college status and changed its name to Selston Arts and Community College in 2006. Academy (English School)
An academy school in England is a state-funded school which is directly funded by the Department for Education and independent of local authority control. Swanwick Hall School is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in Swanwick, Alfreton, Derbyshire, England. Molly Renshaw
Molly Renshaw (born 6 May 1996) is an English breaststroke swimmer. In 2016, she won the 200 metres breaststroke at the 2016 FINA World Swimming Championships (25m). Career In 2012, she won the national 200 m title, but was not selected for the 2012 Olympics because her time was below the qualifying standard. She swam the qualifying time at the Olympic trials of March 2012, but did not win the race, which was required for the Olympic selection. Kyle Ryde (Kyle Brandon Ryde, born 22 July 1997) is an English motorcycle solo road racing, road racer. For 2022 he rode in BSB with OMG Racing, switching to Yamaha machinery as used in 2021 by the McAMS team. Liam Bailey is an English singer-songwriter from Nottingham. He is noted for his soul, reggae, and blues-influenced vocal style. Selston is a large village and civil parish approximately 12 miles (19.3 km) NNW of Nottingham in the Ashfield district, Nottinghamshire, England.
