Seletar Robbery
Seletar Robbery (Simplified Chinese: 实里达大劫案, literally "The Great Seletar Robbery") is a 90-minute Singaporean action drama produced by Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (now MediaCorp) in 1982. Production SBC began filming the drama on 31 May 1982, and filming lasted 24 days. Plot Three thugs, Zhao, Soon and Chai, wearing masks, rob an employee of the workers' payroll belonging to a HDB construction company of S$300000 which was just withdrawn from the bank. The construction company was located at Seletar Reservoir, hence the drama's name. After robbing the construction company with guns, the three thugs were chased by workers there to their car which they used to escape. The police is alerted by an electrician who had witnessed the robbery. The robbers are about to escape when the police arrive. Huang Wenyong
Huang Wenyong (25 July 1952 – 20 April 2013) was a Malaysia-born Singaporean actor and former teacher of Chinese descent. Local media and colleagues referred to him as "Ah Ge" (senior actor) due to his status. Huang died at the Singapore General Hospital at around 5 pm (GMT+8) on 20 April 2013, at the age of 60 due to lymphoma. Early life and career Huang was a teacher in Kuala Lumpur before leaving for Singapore. Huang moved to Singapore in the 1970s, with only fifty dollars in hand. He joined the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation in 1981. He is perhaps best known for his appearances in '' The Awakening'', in which he played love interest to Xiang Yun's character, and '' The Seletar Robbery'' in 1982. Chen Meng (; born 15 January 1994) is a Chinese table tennis player and the current World No. 2 in Women's Singles. She joined the provincial team when she was 9 and joined the national team when she was only 13 in 2007. Channel 8 ( zh, 8頻道) is a Singaporean free-to-air television channel, airing in Mandarin Chinese. The Golden Path (TV Series)
The Golden Path () is a 30-episode drama serial. Set in 1982 and spanning 25 years, it tells the story of a family embroiled in conflicts of interest, webs of deceit, love, hatred and vengeance.
