	Robert Taylor Segraves Robert Taylor Segraves (born 1941) is an American psychiatrist who works on sexual dysfunction and its pharmacologic causes and treatments. Career Segraves attended the Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University in 1963 and would later receive a M.D. from the same institution. He completed his residency in psychiatry at the University of Chicago and earned a Ph.D. from the University of London. Segraves is professor of psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and chair of the department of psychiatry at MetroHealth medical center. He was a member of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders task forces on sexual disorders for the DSM-III-R, DSM-IV and DSM-IV-TR editions. He is editor of the ''Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy'' and on the editorial board of the ''International Journal of Impotence Research''.
