Seeing Double (album)
''Seeing Double'' is the fourth and final studio album from S Club. It was the only album to be released under the name "S Club", after the group was rebranded when band member Paul Cattermole left the group in June 2002 after his departure announcement in March. It was used as the main musical influence to the film of the same name released in April 2003. Despite good reviews and reception, the album only managed to reach number 17 on the UK Albums Chart. Background After Paul Cattermole's departure, vowing to not disband, the remaining six members stayed together under the name S Club. Despite losing a member of the group, the future remained positive as, although they were very sad to see Cattermole leave the group, they were "delighted" to have extended their contracts meaning they could look forward to new material, a new series of their television show as well as their first feature film. S Club 7
S Club 7 were a British pop group from London, created by former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller and consisting of members Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O'Meara, Jon Lee, Paul Cattermole, Rachel Stevens and Tina Barrett. The group was formed in 1998 and quickly rose to fame by starring in their own BBC television series, ''Miami 7''. In their five years together, S Club 7 had four UK number-one singles, one UK number-one album, and a string of hits throughout Europe as well as a Top 10 hit on the US Hot 100, with their 2000 single " Never Had a Dream Come True". They recorded four studio albums, released 11 singles and went on to sell over 10 million albums worldwide. The concept of the group was created by Simon Fuller who signed them to Polydor Records. Paul Cattermole
Paul Gerald Cattermole (born 7 March 1977) is an English singer. He was a member of the group S Club 7, but left the group in 2002. Early life Cattermole was born in St Albans, Hertfordshire. He was a member of the National Youth Music Theatre and appeared in "Pendragon" (1994). He studied theatre. Simon Fuller picked him for S Club 7. Career 1999–2002: S Club 7 Cattermole became a member of S Club 7 after a series of auditions, along with members Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O'Meara, Hannah Spearritt and Rachel Stevens in 1999. Jon Lee (singer)
Jonathan Lee (born 26 April 1982) is an English actor and singer. Lee was the youngest member of pop group S Club 7, which disbanded in April 2003. The group starred in a number of their own television series, beginning with ''Miami 7'', playing themselves. Since the group split, Lee has had a career in musical theatre, taking on roles in more than 17 productions, including the West End shows ''Les Misérables'' and ''Jersey Boys''. Tina Barrett
Tina Ann Barrett (born 16 September 1976) is an English singer and actress. Her major breakthrough came in 1999 when she became a member of the pop group, S Club 7. She has been a member of spin-off group S Club Allstars (previously "S Club 3") since 2014. She is also a former member of the girl group Mis-Teeq, though she never appeared on any of their recordings. Early life Tina Barrett was born in Hammersmith, London, England to an English father and a Guyanese mother. She was at London's Arts Educational School for a period of eight years. Her first job was dancing in a pantomime with Lionel Blair. She was originally going to be in the group Face2Face, which later went on to become Mis-Teeq. Lucie Silvas (born Lucie Joanne Silverman, 4 September 1977) is a British singer-songwriter. Sheppard J. "Shep" Solomon (born December 12, 1969 in New York City, New York, United States) is an American songwriter. Biography Solomon attended the Fiorello H. Steps (group)
Steps are a British dance-pop group consisting of Lee Latchford-Evans, Claire Richards, Lisa Scott-Lee, Faye Tozer and Ian "H" Watkins. Steps were formed in May 1997 and achieved a series of charting singles between 1997 and 2001 including two number-one singles in the UK (one a double A-side), two number-one albums in the UK, 14 consecutive top 5 singles in the UK and a string of hits throughout Europe. The group has sold over 22 million records worldwide in addition to acquiring a BRIT Award nomination in 1999 for Best Newcomer while supporting Britney Spears on tour the same year.
