Early life and career Hernaez was born on 12 December 1899 in Talisay, Negros Occidental to Rosendo Hernaez and Teofila Conlu. He attended the Public School of Talisay and San Agustin College of Iloilo, and obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from San Juan de Letran College and Bachelor of Laws degree from the Escuela de Derecho in 1921. Ramon del Fierro Magsaysay Sr. (August 31, 1907 – March 17, 1957) was a Filipino statesman who served as the seventh president of the Philippines, from December 30, 1953, until his death in an aircraft disaster on March 17, 1957. An automobile mechanic by profession, Magsaysay was appointed military governor of Zambales after his outstanding service as a guerrilla leader during the Pacific War. Oscar C. Ledesma was a Filipino politician, cabinet secretary and diplomat. Biography Oscar Ledesma was born on April 3, 1902, in Silay, Negros Occidental. He was the son of a landowner and sugar baron. Ledesma received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the Ateneo de Manila. In 1925 he received his bachelor 's degree in law from the University of the Philippines. In the same year, he was admitted to the Bar.
