''Secret World – Live in Paris'' is a live album by the British pop rock band Tears for Fears, released on 27 February 2006 by the French record label XIII Bis. The band's first official live album, it was recorded at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris, France, during their 2005 world tour. The two-disc release contains a CD album along with a DVD video of the performance. The CD also contains three additional studio tracks; the previously unreleased "Floating Down the River", a radio edit of "Secret World" (released as a promo single in France, taken from the band's sixth album ''Everybody Loves a Happy Ending'') and "What Are We Fighting For?", a song written and originally included on Curt Smith's 1998 album ''Mayfield''. Tears For Fears
Tears for Fears are an English pop rock band formed in Bath, England, in 1981 by Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith. Founded after the dissolution of their first band, the mod-influenced Graduate, Tears for Fears were associated with the new wave synthesizer bands of the early 1980s, and attained international chart success. The band's debut album, ''The Hurting'' (1983), reached number one on the UK Albums Chart, and their first three hit singles – "Mad World", "Change", and "Pale Shelter" – all reached the top five in the UK Singles Chart. Charlie Bisharat is an American violinist known as a member of Shadowfax and for his work in film and with other New Age Jazz artists. He was born in Inglewood, CA in 1963 to parents who immigrated to the United States from Palestine in the 1950s.
