The Dogs D'Amour
The Dogs D'Amour are an English bluesey hard rock band formed in London in 1983. Over the years the band has had various line-ups, the only constant being vocalist Tyla. Their music has been described as a mixture of the Rolling Stones, the Faces and glam punk. Their 1989 release, '' A Graveyard of Empty Bottles'', reached No. 16 on the UK Albums Chart while the single "Satellite Kid" reached No. 26 on the UK Singles Chart. In 1991, the band broke up onstage, before reforming briefly in the early 1990s for the release of their sixth studio album '' More Unchartered Heights of Disgrace''. After this, however, the most famous incarnation of the band ceased to exist. There was another brief reunion in 2000 and an album, but, throughout the 2000s, Tyla has been touring and releasing albums under the band name, which is vastly different from their older material. ''Happy Ever After'' is rock band The Dogs D'Amour's seventh studio album, it was released in the year 2000 following the band's reformation. Prior to this, the Dogs had not released an album in seven years; it saw Tyla, Bam and Jo Dog reuniting. Also brought in on bass was Bam's wife, Share Ross, formerly Share Pedersen. The album featured a cover of a cover in the form of "Quick Joey Small". The Dogs D'Amour's version is a cover of the one English punk band Slaughter & The Dogs did in 1972. However, the song was originally written by Joey Levine Joey Levine (born May 29, 1947) is an American singer, songwriter and record producer of pop music, who has been active since 1966. Share Ross
Sharon June "Share" Ross (formerly Pedersen; born Sharon June Howe; March 21, 1963 in Glencoe, Minnesota) is an American musician. She was the bass player of the female hard rock band, Vixen, from whom she has been on hiatus since February 2022. Music career Ross joined Vixen in 1987, replacing Pia Maiocco, and remained with the band until 1992. After leaving Vixen, she co-formed the supergroup, Contraband, releasing only one album. When Vixen reunited in 1997, she declined as she and her husband, Bam had formed the group, Bubble. In 1997, legendary Texas blues guitarist Denny Freeman, (Bob Dylan, Jimmie Vaughan, Taj Mahal), invited Ross to play bass for his album A Tone For My Sins. In 1999, Ross and her husband Bam co-wrote the songs on Jesse Camp's debut album, ''Jesse & The 8th Street Kidz''.
