Sebastian Rotella
Sebastian Rotella is an American foreign correspondent, investigative journalist, and novelist. Biography Rotella was born in Chicago, Illinois, and graduated from the University of Michigan. While at the University of Michigan, he won four Hopwood Awards from 1982 to 1984. He worked for over twenty years as a reporter at the ''Los Angeles Times''. The Overseas Press Club awarded his investigation of the 2008 Mumbai attacks the "Best Online Investigation of an International Issue or Event 2010" award. Rotella contributed as a reporter to "What Happened at Dos Erres", a documentary published as an episode of This American Life that won a Peabody Award in 2012. As a ProPublica employee, he was a co-producer and the primary contributing reporter of the 2016 ''Frontline'' episode "Terror in Europe". Rotella's article "Children of the Border", published in the ''Los Angeles Times'' on April 3, 1993, served as a source for Bruce Springsteen's album ''The Ghost of Tom Joad''. Rotella ... The George Foster Peabody Awards (or simply Peabody Awards or the Peabodys) program, named for the American businessman and philanthropist George Peabody, honor the most powerful, enlightening, and invigorating stories in television, radio, and online media. Carlo Rotella is an American non-fiction writer and academic. Life Carlo Rotella is the son of Salvatore Rotella, a chancellor of City Colleges of Chicago originally from Sicily. His mother was from Spain and was a professor of comparative literature at St. Xavier University in Chicago. They lived in South Side, Chicago. He attended the nearby University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. His undergraduate education was at Wesleyan University, and his PhD in American studies from Yale University. He is a professor of American studies, English, and journalism at Boston College. ''The Ghost of Tom Joad'' is the eleventh studio album, and the second acoustic album, by American recording artist Bruce Springsteen, released on November 21, 1995, by Columbia Records. It reached the Top Ten in two countries, and the Top Twenty in five more, including No. 11 in the United States, his first studio album to fail to reach the US Top Ten in over two decades.
