Seaway (band)
Seaway is a Canadian rock band from Oakville, Ontario signed to Pure Noise Records and Dine Alone Records. The band has released three EPs and four studio albums. History Formation and early releases (2011–2013) Seaway formed in 2011 in Oakville, Ontario, consisting of Ryan Locke on lead vocals, Patrick Carleton on rhythm guitar and vocals, Andrew Eichinger on lead guitar, Adam Shoji on bass, and Ken Taylor on drums. All of the members have been friends since high school. Locke, Eichinger, and Taylor began playing music together as early as grade 5, performing at talent shows and for other friends. Seaway was originally a side-project of hardcore band The Fellowship, which featured Locke on drums, Eichinger on guitar and Taylor on vocals. Oakville is a town in Halton Region, Ontario, Canada. It is located on Lake Ontario between Toronto and Hamilton. At its 2021 census population of 213,759, it is Ontario's largest town. Warped Tour
The Warped Tour was a traveling rock tour that toured the United States plus three or four stops in Canada annually each summer from 1995 until 2019. It was the largest traveling music festival in the United States and the longest-running touring music festival to date in North America. Following the first Warped Tour, the skateboard shoe manufacturer Vans became the tour’s main sponsor, when it then became known as the Vans Warped Tour. Vans toured Australia in 1998-2002 and again in 2013. Although Vans continued as main sponsor and lent its name to the festival, other sponsors also participated, with stages or other aspects of the festival being named after them on occasion. Closer (The Chainsmokers Song)
"Closer" is a song by American DJ duo The Chainsmokers featuring American singer Halsey. Andrew Taggart (one half of the Chainsmokers) also provides his vocals in the song. It was released on July 29, 2016, through Disruptor Records and Columbia Records. The song was written by Taggart, Halsey, Shaun Frank, Freddy Kennett, Isaac Slade and Joe King, while the production was handled by the Chainsmokers. Musically, it is a future bass and pop song with a "retro" style synthesizer in the chorus. In the United States, "Closer" became both the Chainsmokers' and Halsey's first number one single on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. The song stayed at the top spot for 12 consecutive weeks. Ashley Nicolette Frangipane ( ; born September 29, 1994), known professionally as Halsey ( ), is an American singer and songwriter. She was born and raised in New Jersey. Gaining attention from self-released music on social media platforms, she was signed by Astralwerks in 2014 and released her debut EP, '' Room 93'', later that year. She released her debut studio album, ''Badlands'', in 2015. Fearless Records is an American independent record label that was founded in 1994. The band's lineup consists of Pierre Bouvier (lead vocals, studio bass guitar), Chuck Comeau (drums), Jeff Stinco (lead guitar), and Sébastien Lefebvre (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), with all four performing with the group since its inception. Moose Blood were an English emo band based in Canterbury, Kent. They formed in 2012 and were signed to Hopeless Records. History Moose Blood formed in August 2012 and published a self-released demo, ''Bukowski Demo (Summer '12)'', in the same month. Real Friends is an American pop punk band from Tinley Park, Illinois. To date, the band has released seven EPs and three studio albums.
