Seattle Mist
The Seattle Mist was a team in the Legends Football League, formerly the Lingerie Football League, and were founded as part of the Lingerie Bowl's expansion into a full-fledged league in 2009. They played their home games at the ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington. The league rebranded as the Legends Football League in 2013 and shifted away from the Super Bowl halftime shows. Following the 2019 season, the LFL ceased operations and relaunched as the Extreme Football League (X League) for the 2020 season. All former LFL teams received new brands and the Mist were replaced by the Seattle Thunder. Angela Rypien
Angela Sue Rypien (born October 22, 1990) is a former American football quarterback. She played for the Seattle Mist and the Baltimore Charm of the Legends Football League (LFL). Rypien is one of the daughters of quarterback Mark Rypien, the only Canadian chosen as Super Bowl MVP when his team, the Washington Redskins, won Super Bowl XXVI, and former Boise State quarterback Brett Rypien is Angela's cousin. Professional career Rypien was the quarterback of the Seattle Mist in 2011, and for the Baltimore Charm in 2012. In July 2013, Matt Vensel, writing in ''The Baltimore Sun'', called Rypien the most prominent player in the league. Cotton Bowl (stadium)
The Cotton Bowl is an outdoor stadium in Dallas, Texas, United States. Opened in 1930 as Fair Park Stadium, it is on the site of the State Fair of Texas, known as Fair Park. The Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena was a multi-purpose arena at Exposition Park, in the University Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. Dick's Sporting Goods Park, also known as DSG Park, is a soccer-specific stadium located in Commerce City, Colorado that is home to the Colorado Rapids men's professional soccer team. The Los Angeles Temptation were a women's American football team in the Legends Football League, previously known as the Lingerie Football League, based in Los Angeles and Ontario, California. The team was established as Team Dream, one of two teams that participated in the inaugural Lingerie Bowl broadcast during Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004. Chicago Bliss
The Chicago Bliss is a women's American football team based in the Chicago area. The Bliss is one for the first four teams to participate in the Lingerie Bowl and was carried over to the formation of the Lingerie Football League (LFL) in 2009. Since the formation of the league, the Bliss have played out of multiple indoor and outdoor venues. In 2013, the league rebranded as the Legends Football League. The Chicago Bliss are the LFL team with the most wins and the most championship titles. As of the conclusion of the 2019 season, the Bliss had a league best 40–14–1 all-time record and four Legends Cups wins in 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2018.
