Seattle Cup
The Seattle Cup is a traveling trophy awarded to the winner of the annual men's college soccer match between Seattle University and the University of Washington. Washington leads the all-time series, 48–9–5. The cup was first awarded in 2016. In the event of a draw, the cup remains in the possession of the school holding it prior to the match. The cup is presented to the winning team by the Washington Athletic Club and the 101 Club. The rivalry has seen more media attention ever since Seattle U has reinstated its men's soccer program at the NCAA Division I level and has been competitive in the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament. Seattle Redhawks Men's Soccer
The Seattle U Redhawks men's soccer program represents the Seattle University in all NCAA Division I men's college soccer competitions. Founded in 1967, the Redhawks compete in the Western Athletic Conference. The Redhawks are coached by Pete Fewing, who has coached the team for 25 years. Seattle U plays their home matches at Championship Field, on the campus of Seattle University. Over the course of the program's history, the Redhawks have played at various levels of collegiate athletics. In 2004 they won the NCAA Div II National Championship. In 2013, Seattle joined as a full-member of the Western Athletic Conference. In their first season as a DI member, the Redhawks qualified for the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament, with their best performance coming in 2015, where they reached the Round of 16. College soccer in the United States is played by teams composed of soccer players who are enrolled in colleges and universities. College soccer in the United States is sponsored by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the sports regulatory body for major universities, and by the governing bodies for smaller universities and colleges. The NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament, sometimes known as the College Cup, is an American intercollegiate soccer tournament conducted by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and determines the Division I men's national champion. Milwaukee Cup
The Milwaukee Cup is a traveling trophy awarded to the winner of the annual men's soccer (association football) match between Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Milwaukee leads the all-time series, 31–12–6, however, Marquette currently holds the cup after a 5-2 victory over Milwaukee at Valley Fields on September 20, 2022 and a 1-1 draw in the most recent meeting, September 19, 2023 at Engelmann Stadium. Rowdies Cup
The Rowdies Cup is a traveling trophy awarded to the winner of the annual college soccer derby between the University of South Florida Bulls and the University of Tampa Spartans, two NCAA men's programs based in the city of Tampa, Florida. The rivalry was known as the Mayor's Cup from 1979 to 2005. History The rivalry was first contested on November 5, 1972. USF won the match, 9–2. That meeting happens to have the greatest margin of victory in the series among games played during the regular season.
