Florestano Vancini (24 August 1926 – 18 September 2008) was an Italian film director and screenwriter. He directed over 20 films since 1960. His 1966 film '' Le stagioni del nostro amore'', starring Enrico Maria Salerno, was entered into the 16th Berlin International Film Festival. Daniele Vargas, stage name of Daniele Pitani (20 April 1922 – 7 January 1981) was an Italian film actor. Life and career Born in Imola, a small town in the district of Bologna, after attending high school with Pier Paolo Pasolini, Daniele Vargas enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine of Bologna University. After graduation in 1957 he moved to Rome to follow his passion for cinema. He began to appear in small roles in costume films and sword-and-sandals at the end of the 1950s and rapidly became one of the most active character actors, specializing in villain roles and sometime in characters of Spanish language. Luciano Damiani (14 July 1923 – 20 June 2007) was an Italian stage and costume designer, who worked both for theatre and opera productions. Theatre and opera productions Damiani studied painting and only by chance started working for the stage. Soon he became a close collaborator of Giorgio Strehler at Milan's '' Piccolo Teatro''. International fame came with his famous stage designs for Goldoni's ''Le baruffe chiozzote'' (Piccolo Teatro, 1964, staged by Strehler) and for Mozart's ''Die Entführung aus dem Serail'' at the Salzburg Festival 1965 (staged by Strehler, conducted by Zubin Mehta). This production soon became legendary and was revived several times until 1975.
