Seán Walsh (3 April 1925 – 26 December 1989) was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician. He was an unsuccessful candidate at the 1961, 1965 and 1969 general elections. He was elected to the 12th Seanad at the 1969 Seanad election on the Labour Panel. He was elected to Dáil Éireann as Fianna Fáil Teachta Dála A Teachta Dála ( , ; plural ), abbreviated as TD (plural ''TDanna'' in Irish, TDs in English), is a member of Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Oireachtas (the Irish Parliament). It is the equivalent of terms such as ''Member of Parli ... (TD) for the Dublin County North constituency at the 1973 general election. He was re-elected at the 1977 general election for the Dublin County Mid constituency. From 1981 to 1989 he represented the Dublin South-West constituency. Seán Walsh (born 6 April 1957) is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played for the Kerins O'Rahilly's club and at senior level for the Kerry county team between 1976 and 1987, during which he won seven All-Ireland SFC titles. The Original Rudeboys (O.R.B.) are an acoustic pop/ hip hop group from Dublin. They are notable for their debut album ''This Life'' which was released in 2012 and debuted at number one on the Irish iTunes Charts, and their single "Stars in My Eyes", which hit number 2 on iTunes and received national airplay. They have played at venues such as the Olympia Theatre and at festivals such as Oxegen and the Reading and Leeds Festivals. The band consists of Sean "Neddy" Arkins (rap vocals), Robert Burch (guitar and vocals), Sean "Walshy" Walsh (ukulele). The band's genre has been described as a cross between hip hop and indie. Sean Christopher Walsh (born 2 December 1985), known professionally as Seann Walsh, is an English stand-up comedian. Early life Walsh was born in Camden in London, but was brought up in Brighton. He left school with one GCSE examination pass, in Drama. Career Walsh is a graduate of Jill Edwards' comedy workshops and performed his first gig in November 2006. He won several awards early in his career including ''Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year (2009)'' and ''Chortle Best Newcomer (2009)''. Walsh supported Stephen K. Amos on his 2008/09 ''Find the Funny'' and 2009/10 ''The Feelgood Factor'' tours, as well as at the 2010 ''Reading and Leeds Festival''.
