Sean Patrick Smith (January 30, 1978 – September 11, 2012) was an American diplomat and information management officer with the United States Foreign Service who was killed during the September 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Life and work Smith was an only child and grew up in the Clairemont neighborhood of San Diego, California. He graduated from Mission Bay High School in 1995, enlisted in the United States Air Force in July 1995 and served for six years. Sean Lee Smith (born July 14, 1987) is a former American football cornerback. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders. He played college football at Utah Utes football, Utah. Sean Smith is the director of NCI Australia with a conjoint position of professor of computational nanomaterials science and technology at the Australian National University (ANU). Education and research Smith received a BSc and PhD in chemistry at University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand before postdoctoral work at University of California, Berkeley (1991-1993) and the University of Göttingen (Humboldt Fellow 1989–1991). Sean Smith is a British photographer and filmmaker. He has covered conflicts and wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon and Democratic Republic of the Congo. He has been on staff at ''The Guardian'' newspaper since 1988. His work in the UK has dealt with inner-city disturbances of the 1980s, heroin users and the lives of professional wrestlers, among other subjects. Sean Smith, Lord Harrower is a Scottish judge who has been a Senator of the College of Justice since February 2020. Career Harrower was educated at Flora Stevenson's and at Broughton High School, Edinburgh. He was a fellow and lecturer in law at Emmanuel College, Cambridge between 1991 and 1996. He graduated from the University of Glasgow becoming an Advocate at the Faculty of Advocates in 1999. At the Bar, he specialised in tax and related matters.
